MGM Resorts International has issued a comprehensive update for its guests after a system outage that occurred more than a week ago disrupted operations across its properties.

In a statement posted on its official X account (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday evening, MGM Resorts assured guests that their experience at the resort has largely returned to normal. The company stated, “Our services, dining options, entertainment offerings, pools, and spas are operating normally.”

Furthermore, MGM Resorts emphasized that their gaming facilities are fully operational, with gaming floors, including slots, table games, and poker rooms, all open for business. Visitors to MGM properties can make use of Slot Dollars and FREEPLAY, with the resort’s slots effectively recording gaming spend. Additionally, the slot ticket-in/ticket-out systems are up and running smoothly, and the dedicated staff is readily available to assist guests with any intermittent issues.

The company expressed gratitude for the patience of its guests throughout the disruption and conveyed eagerness to welcome them back soon.

Specifically addressing guests at Excalibur, MGM Resorts encouraged them to continue seeking assistance from casino cashiers and slot guest representatives as the resort works diligently to normalize its operations.

The system outage, which occurred on September 11, significantly impacted MGM Resorts’ website, reservation systems, and certain gaming machines, leading to a series of disruptions over several days.

MGM Resorts International, the largest casino operator in Las Vegas, boasts a portfolio of ten resorts located on the famed Las Vegas Strip.
